I can't count the times I have seen members walk into the gym, hang up their coat and keys, and immediately begin lifting heavy weight.
With busy schedules it can be difficult to fit in a solid workout, so it's common to skip a warm up. This can be problematic as your muscles and joints are cold and tight making them more vulnerable to injury. For optimal performance and the prevention of injury take a few extra minutes and prepare your body for your workout.
